<p>Sega's Game Gear came out in Japan on October 6th 1990. It's now 25-years-old.</p><p>To celebrate this fact, Sega has teased what seems to be either a Game Gear theme or collection for 3DS.</p><p>The developer shared a 10-second video of whatever it is on Twitter, as you can see below.</p><p>The video shows a Game Gear screen at the top while the 3DS's bottom screen browses a selection of game folders.</p><p>Sonic the Hedgehog is then launched on the virtual console but the video cuts off before showing anything else.<p>25 years ago today, the Game Gear debuted in Japan. It looks like it's just a theme to give you the feel of playing games on a Game Gear.</p><p>But another possibility could be a Game Gear collection that comes with a theme and a bunch of virtual console games. <p>Halloween isn't just a spooky time for us humans, you know? Monsters have it hard as well.</p><p>You only need to play Tushar Thapar's BalanceGod to know that.</p><p>The idea is to help monsters balance on a seesaw so they don't fall to their deaths in the abyss below.</p><p>You do this by tapping a screen to fill a bucket with water. The challenge is to tap again to stop the water flow. But the water doesn't stop right away - there's always a bit of a trickle.</p><p>If there's too much or not enough water in the bucket then the seesaw will be unbalanced and the monster will topple off with a horrendous scream.</p><p>Making matters worse, the seesaw's centre of gravity changes each time you retry. Just make sure you keep aware of that.</p><p>Also keep a giant eye out for the surreal backgrounds that cycle ... there are some interesting ones.</p><p>BalanceGod is an endless game that's best played in short spurts.
