Mi-Clos Studio has announced that Out There: Omega Edition will be free to existing owners of the game on iOS and Android in Q1 2015.

We had a chance to take a look at this free update to the Gold Award-winning space exploration game earlier this year.

It adds 50 more interactive stories, an ending, new alien breeds, and new ships.

The update also adds more dynamic, colourful, and lively backdrops and animations with new HD textures. Planets and stars will be in full 3D, they also spin, and stars spit solar winds.

And it's this that the developer is showing off today in a few comparison screenshots alongside those new release details. Have a look at those below.

If you haven't already bought Out There, then you can get it for £2.49 / $3.99 on the App Store [buy] and Google Play [buy].

The Ox replied: "I do not wish to be ungrateful, for I am loved and well cared for by men, and they often pat my head and shoulders." "Woe's me!" said the flea; "this very patting which you like, whenever it happens to me, brings with it my inevitable destruction."
And, true to bondage, would not break from thence,"Don't, Leslie," implored Anne, "oh, don't. I understand-- don't talk of it any more."
"I'm sure I would," said Anne. "And please don't think I'm utterly irresponsible because you saw me dancing on the shore at sunset. No doubt I shall be dignified after a time. You see, I haven't been married very long. I feel like a girl, and sometimes like a child, yet."
A WALNUT TREE standing by the roadside bore an abundant crop of fruit. For the sake of the nuts, the passers-by broke its branches with stones and sticks. The Walnut-Tree piteously exclaimed, "O wretched me! that those whom I cheer with my fruit should repay me with these painful requitals!"

Remember yesterday when we suggested that Aspyr updating Knights of the Old Republic II could be a sign of a mobile release? Turns out we weren't far off.

But instead of announcing a mobile version, Aspyr is asking fans to register their interest in a port over on its website.

All you need to do is provide your email address, date of birth, and choose whether you want to see the game on iOS, Android, or both.

Given that KotOR II is considered something of a classic, it'll probably have enough interest registered for at least one platform to receive a port.

And we know Aspyr can deliver. We gave Knights of the Old Republic our Gold Award, with our reviewer calling it "a truly exceptional RPG."

So if you want to see KotOR II on your mobile device any time soon, then head over to the website and let your interest be known.
DroidGamers

As you'd expect from the people that are involved with this project, Caligula looks a lot like Persona. At least Persona 3 and Persona 4 given the game's style and the fact that it actually takes place in a school.

In any case, Caligula is an upcoming RPG set in a virtual world that you're trying to exit. Featuring modern pathology and trauma, it will explore a variety of themes that are meant to make the player think.

You'll also explore dungeons and battle monsters in turn based battles.

You can see all that and more in the game's first teaser trailer:
