2、
A whole host of content has arrived in Pokemon Masters today. This includes a Story Event, Special Event, a new Sync Pair and a fresh login Rally. Considering the Legendary Arena event only started last week, there's certainly a lot of content for players to get stuck into right now.

The new Sync Pair will be Burgh & Leavanny who will be a 5-star special Strike Pokemon with bug typing. Its role does mean that its move set is fairly straightforward with two attacks, one of which can raise any of its stats. Beyond that, it can raise its own special attack and with Scurry Ahead! increase its defence and speed.

As with all new Sync Pairs, Burgh & Leavanny will have a Spotlight Scout available where you'll have a higher chance of netting the duo. This will run from today until July 2nd. Their Sync Grid will also be expanded upon release, as is customary with freshly added Sync Pairs.

Players will also be able to face off against Burgh in the Challenge Unova Special Event. This is a series of battles against the likes of Shauntal, Roxie, Iris and of course Burgh. Each battle will have a Very Hard and Ultra Hard variant with the rewards being a mix of training items and some Gems.

To coincide with this event, there is also a Unova Rally that will run from today until July 2nd. This simply means that logging in once a day for two weeks will reward players with a mixture of Gems and Co-op sync Orbs.

Finally, today also sees the return of 'The Importance of Elegance' Event that accompanied Caitlin & Reuniclus' arrival on Pasio back in October. This will be a series of battles to beat with Missions available from the Poryphone that will give players a mix of Co-op Sync Orbs, Vouchers and Gems. These vouchers can be exchanged for training items and a limited number of 3,4 and 5-star power-ups.

Pokemon Masters is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
Enjoy Japanese games? Here 25 of the best available for AndroidCome to my houseThe more honor the more danger.
4、
After a series of interesting articles surfaced about the Nintendo Switch this past weekend, it's got me thinking: are these cartridges/game cards a good idea?

It was clear from Nintendo's reveal that the Switch does in fact use cartridges similar to those used in the DS/3DS. You can't help but admire Nintendo for their loyalty, bringing the same factor through to the Switch that no other console has. However, a vast majority of consumers have been a little underwhelmed by the Switch's design and predictability.

On one hand we were excited as rumours ran wild earlier this year, bringing us the possibility that we'd be getting the sort of cartridges you blew into if the picture quality was a little fuzzy, but it wasn't meant to be. After revealing that it'd be following the same pattern as the DS/3DS a little of that nostalgia factor slipped through our fingers, making it a far less exciting feat.

However the benefit of the game cards from a technological point of view is definitely evident. The Mask ROM chips which are used to make these cards are around 4-8 GB large, and for the average Nintendo game that's more than enough space to use, wiggle room included. Even where it showed Skyrim playing on Switch's teaser, Skyrim is actually only about 10 GB on the PC (at its most basic level) without the use of mods, so by sticking with game cards over Blu-ray discs or internal memory it makes it much easier just to load up the game and go.

Of course, the more recent titles are all loading in at 30+ GB, so it'll be interesting to see just what publishers will partner with Nintendo to bring their games to the console. The only teeny issue is that Mask ROM is marginally more expensive to make – we're talking 50c or so – and collectively this might be seen as Nintendo's chance to boost game prices up a little, but that's only this humble writer's own speculation.

We can't help but be in favour of Nintendo's choice to keep the optical discs at bay. Not only does it save you having to pre-load your physical games onto the device as you would on PlayStation or on Steam, it also sits favourably in terms of battery life. Without a device working hard to run an optical disc, your battery will probably run more like an Android phone than an iPhone (yeah, I said it).

Are you looking forward to the Switch or are you somewhat sceptical of its upcoming hybrid console? 2、A MAN, very much annoyed with a Flea, caught him at last, and said, "Who are you who dare to feed on my limbs, and to cost me so much trouble in catching you?' The Flea replied, "O my dear sir, pray spare my life, and destroy me not, for I cannot possibly do you much harm." The Man, laughing, replied, "Now you shall certainly die by mine own hands, for no evil, whether it be small or large, ought to be tolerated."
It's been a while since Glitch Games released The Forgotten Room, but they'll soon be back with their next title All That Remains.

3、The next day, the small white Joy was laid in a velvet casket which Leslie had lined with apple-blossoms, and taken to the graveyard of the church across the harbor. Miss Cornelia and Marilla put all the little love-made garments away, together with the ruffled basket which had been befrilled and belaced for dimpled limbs and downy head. Little Joy was never to sleep there; she had found a colder, narrower bed.'"O then advance of yours that phraseless hand
