Nothing is quite what it seems in Potatoman Seeks The Troof.

Take the first area as an example - the desert. The first cactus you see will sit there as you expect a cactus to as you jump over it to avoid an instant death. The second might also sit there.

But the third may jump into the air. The fourth might double in its size just as you're about to jump over it. That's just mean, you may think, but it is the nature of the game.

    &#;Operation Sniper: Codenamed Falcon(Free Shopping)&#;

    The Horse and the Stag
We rather enjoyed Group Pug's Silver Award-winning Bras and Balls last year. So I was intrigued to see what the studio's take on the incremental RPG was with God Squad.

As with its peers in the genre, God Squad is rather tap-heavy. The idea is to help deities defend Omega Island, their home, from those attacking it.

There are endless streams of enemies to defeat in each region. You do so by tapping on them to issue damage. I got an achievement for tapping 100 times in the first 20 seconds.

For each enemy defeated you earn coins. These can be used to upgrade your deities and to unlock more of them. They're a mix of Greek and Egyptian gods including Horus, Ares, and Artemis.

    &#;
Yak Dash: Horns of Glory – a freemium 2D racer all about getting your Yak to the finish line as fast as possible (of course) – is now available on Android.

In Yak Dash, you must guide your yak over all sorts of obstacles and terrain while performing crazy jumps and acrobatics. You've never seen a Yak do a front-flip 360? It's quite something, let me tell you.

In his review of the iOS version, Harry called it an "incredibly well-polished product" that is ultimately "a little too frustrating to wholeheartedly recommend".

You can grab it by the horns for free now on Google Play.
&#;

Croteam and Devolver Digital have just released a free mini-game prelude to The Talos Principle called Sigils of Elohim on iOS and Android.

In it, you are tasked with solving dozens of sigil puzzles. This involves rotating several tetrominoes so that they all fit perfectly into a single shape. There can be no overlaps of gaps.

As you do this, you are - apparently - watched over by Elohim, aka the big creator of the sky (you know, God). So, er, don't mess up, I guess.

Success in solving the puzzles unlocks items and relics that can be used in Croteam's forthcoming first-person philosophical puzzler The Talos Principle.
&#;
Game of Thrones used to be everybody's favourite tv show until it suddenly wasn't following a disappointing eighth season in the eyes of many. Still, the series still holds a lot of weight, so fans may be pleased to know there's a new game based on the series called Game of Thrones: Tale of Crows, which is available now for Apple Arcade.

Game of Thrones: Tale of Crows comes to us courtesy of Devolver Digital, who have created a real-time idle game that has a focus on narrative. It looks to explore the 8000-year history of the Night's Watch and its never-ending vigil atop the Wall.
