There're probably very few people who don't know what Dexter is. The bloody and mildly unnerving TV show is an utter riot and you can now get your hands on its game, Dexter: Slice, on iOS and Android.

Dexter: Slice is a simple but challenging puzzler in which you have to tap all of the open holes (filled with blood, duh) and take a leaf out of Dexter's book. It doesn't sound challenging like that but at a bunch of knifes and drills into the fray and voila, you've got yourself a puzzle. Just, try to keep your fingers attached to your body, eh?

The narration by Dexter's dear ol' dad, Harry (James Remar) doesn't go unnoticed as he accompanies the levels. So far you've got 120 to play around with, plus an add-on due for release this December featuring Dexter himself (Michael C. Hall). From the trailer you'll notice that levels increase in difficulty, ranging from 'please, you call this a challenge?' to 'oh god, why?' so you'd better get some practice in.

Dexter: Slice is apparently still in soft launch, releasing 'officially' on October 31st, but you can grab it on the App store for £2.29/$2.99, and on Google Play for similar price.
Which one by one she in a river threw,

Classic Blast is the latest colour matching game from Superbox and it's out now for both iOS and Android. It features a retro-styled theme that's inspired by objects from the 1970s and 80s that helps it stand out from the crowd of cutesy characters normally found in the genre. Instead, there will be jukeboxes, radios, film cameras and more items to appeal to the nostalgia of older gamers.
Lunch Box Master Mod Lunch Box Master v1.4.6 mod Features:Modify two gold coins is infinite! In the “Lunch Box Master”, you need to run your own lunch shop, quickly create a customer point of the menu, learn and launch a variety of new products to meet the customer taste buds, the use of a variety of lunch boxes kitchen is also rich and varied.
First launched back in 2018 for PC, Vilmonic is an artificial life sim where you'll be tasked with cultivating creatures that can then, with your guidance and care, evolve. It's incredibly interesting but also incredibly layered, perhaps to the point where it risks putting off as many as it draws in.

Make no mistake, though, that's not a slight against what Bludgeonsoft has crafted here. It's by all accounts a singular experience that rewards creativity and commitment above all else. Once you've got the hang of the basics (and I don't just mean the controls), a sandbox world of borderline endless experiments awaits.

Oddworld Inhabitants is experimenting with bringing Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty! to mobile, and showed an early test demo of the game running on an NVIDIA Shield tablet to some attendees at GDC.

Yes, like Pocket Gamer.

This is a remake of oddball PS1 cult classic Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, but the entire game has been remade from scratch. The design and structure is the same, but the assets are all new.

It's still about a Mudokon called Abe, who solves puzzles to save the slaves from the zulags of a meat processing plant. He can talk to and direct those workers, and can possess some enemies with a magic chant.

This Tasty revamp adds fancy new visuals, leaderboards, cutscenes rendered in realtime, quick saves, tweaks to some puzzles, and continuous scrolling between screens.

The studio says it is "currently experimenting with the viability of, and potential for a mobile device version" of the game, but says it has no particular platforms, dates, or prices in mind.

Still, the demo we saw was pretty impressive - the Android port took less than a week to make but already had all the graphics and gameplay of the console game, and didn't look too far off the lavishly-polished PS4 version.

"Should we proceed," says Oddworld Inhabitants, "we would stress that the development and timing of already announced but yet unreleased versions of Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty would not be affected by the development of such a mobile version."

Like that long-delayed Vita version, eh chaps?

Anyway. Would you buy New & Tasty if it came to mobile? Let us know in the comments below, to maybe nudge Oddworld Inhabitants in the right direction…
