Grow With Your Game
Snake Core, which was announced by OrangePixel a month ago, is now available for Android after previously releasing on iOS. The game is a nod to 'Snake' the classic Nokia game where you try and grow your snake by connecting dots.

As your snake grows and its length extends further it becomes much easier to crash into yourself. There wasn't really anything to fight, you just had to dodge your own body.

The concept in Snake Core is very similar, but instead of collecting dots, you're "recruiting" soldiers to add to your army. Adding to the soldier conga line makes you more dangerous because you'll be able to bash some alien skulls in.

Your goal is to grab as many soldiers as you can and march your way through a facility. As you progress, you'll encounter numerous enemies for you to deal with.

Once you finish off the enemies, then you will be greeted by the boss of the game, the Alien Overlord. They're not a particularly nice entity and wants nothing more than to give you trouble. So take your crew and show him who the real boss is, and then celebrate your hard-fought victory.

One of the neat things is that there are no two routes that are alike. Each one provides different paths to the Alien Overlord. This will make the experience unique every time, so the game should stay feeling fresh for while longer.

Also, Snake Core is really easy to pick up and play, so you don't have to worry about challenging yourself too hard if you want a more casual experience. If it's just one of those days that you want to beat the tar out of aliens, but want to do so with ease, then this is definitely a solid choice of game.

Snake Core is available on the App Store and Google Play for $2.99.
Enjoy action-packed games like Snake Core?
Update: Lost Centuria has been released, and we have a beginners guide as well as the tier list of best characters to help you out with the game!

The recently announced Summoners War: Lost Centuria is the latest entry in the popular Summoner's War series. It takes the monsters and lore from Summoners War: Sky Arena and combines it with real-time strategy into something that the series hasn't done previously.

You might have already heard about Summoners War: Lost Centuria, it was effectively announced last week, and a lot of the existing Summoners War community seemed very excited to spread the word, clearly compelled by the idea. The core game in the series, Summoner's War: Sky Arena is a turn-based strategy MMO where you can choose from rune sets to customise your character and the monsters that fight for you. There are over 1000 monsters in the game, as well as a refined guild and crafting systems. Lost Centuria, however, is a real-time strategy game focused almost entirely around the monsters from the game - and using a card-based battle system.

“We’re shaking up the Summoners War universe with Lost Centuria by taking everything our fans love about Sky Arena and combining it with an active battle system that’s sure to create an all new competitive landscape,” said Com2uS CEO James Song. “This has been an incredible year for Summoners War as we consistently take the IP in new and unexpected directions. The demand for more Summoners War is there and we aim to fill it.”

We're happy to be able to reveal a Cinematic Trailer, and a Teaser Trailer, for the new game, ahead of its CBT (closed beta test) which takes place from Nov 21-30 for people who sign up on the Summoners War: Lost Centuria Google Play page.
Plant vs zombie 2 Turkey pitcher betaThe firelight flickered from point to point, gleaming on the white and green coats of Gog and Magog, on the sleek, brown head of the beautiful setter basking on the rug, on the picture frames on the walls, on the vaseful of daffodils from the window garden, on Anne herself, sitting by her little table, with her sewing beside her and her hands clasped over her knee while she traced out pictures in the fire--Castles in Spain whose airy turrets pierced moonlit cloud and sunset bar-ships sailing from the Haven of Good Hopes straight to Four Winds Harbor with precious burthen. For Anne was again a dreamer of dreams, albeit a grim shape of fear went with her night and day to shadow and darken her visions.

A WORKMAN, felling wood by the side of a river, let his axe drop - by accident into a deep pool. Being thus deprived of the means of his livelihood, he sat down on the bank and lamented his hard fate. Mercury appeared and demanded the cause of his tears. After he told him his misfortune, Mercury plunged into the stream, and, bringing up a golden axe, inquired if that were the one he had lost. On his saying that it was not his, Mercury disappeared beneath the water a second time, returned with a silver axe in his hand, and again asked the Workman if it were his. When the Workman said it was not, he dived into the pool for the third time and brought up the axe that had been lost. The Workman claimed it and expressed his joy at its recovery. Mercury, pleased with his honesty, gave him the golden and silver axes in addition to his own. The Workman, on his return to his house, related to his companions all that had happened. One of them at once resolved to try and secure the same good fortune for himself. He ran to the river and threw his axe on purpose into the pool at the same place, and sat down on the bank to weep. Mercury appeared to him just as he hoped he would; and having learned the cause of his grief, plunged into the stream and brought up a golden axe, inquiring if he had lost it. The Workman seized it greedily, and declared that truly it was the very same axe that he had lost. Mercury, displeased at his knavery, not only took away the golden axe, but refused to recover for him the axe he had thrown into the pool.
Rovio Animation has laid a fresh batch of image eggs for its upcoming Angry Birds movie. A BOY stole a lesson-book from one of his schoolfellows and took it home to his Mother. She not only abstained from beating him, but encouraged him. He next time stole a cloak and brought it to her, and she again commended him. The Youth, advanced to adulthood, proceeded to steal things of still greater value. At last he was caught in the very act, and having his hands bound behind him, was led away to the place of public execution. His Mother followed in the crowd and violently beat her breast in sorrow, whereupon the young man said, "I wish to say something to my Mother in her ear." She came close to him, and he quickly seized her ear with his teeth and bit it off. The Mother upbraided him as an unnatural child, whereon he replied, "Ah! if you had beaten me when I first stole and brought to you that lesson-book, I should not have come to this, nor have been thus led to a disgraceful death."
